San Marcos       Upper left, Wilmer sits with his arms around his children, Lewis and Katie May (Mary) on the ranch in San Marcos. The scene on the upper right shows milking as it was typically done in San Marcos. Note that the milker has much the same pose as did Mr. Brown in the earlier San Pasqual photo, but here the operation is inside the milk barn rather than out in the corral and a special stainless steel vessel is used for receiving the milk.
